How will this work?
Thanks to NanoHop, I’m getting tons of contacts. But what will I do with you guys? I decided to try this experiment. Shoutouts.
I got the idea while I was mass adding folk from the NanoHop list. I would glance at so many profiles, but I didn’t have time to engage anyone. I’d see something on their blog or account and it made me want to ask them questions or talk to them. So why not do that here?
As I report my NanoHop list progress, I will put a mini spotlight on one user in each list a day. I will try not to duplicate author shoutouts. I want an author to have just one for now. I’m not going to read or review any work at this time. I just want to bring people who caught my attention to light.
I’m primarily picking authors writing YA, Fantasy, and LGBT work. This is what I’m working on, so it interests me. If I didn’t pick you, that doesn’t mean you’re boring! It might mean that I just didn’t think of questions to ask you at this time.
If you want to respond to my questions, please do! If you put the answers on your own blog, I’ll re blog it. If you could, please list your other social media links so people can easily find you. You don’t have to, but it would be way cool. Others might want to ask you more questions! They may even read your stuff!
Please don’t ask for a shoutout. I’ve got a list I’m going down. I might do requests some time in the future. At this time, I have no idea if this will be a regular thing on my blog. We’ll see how easy it is to keep up.
I want to give a personal big virtual hug to Raimey Gallant for spending who knows how many hours putting this amazing list together. She crafted it with love. I can tell! Give her lots of likes and attention for her hard work.
